Volunteer with Sebago Clean Waters
Our partner organizations in and around the Sebago lake Watershed rely on volunteers to help maintain trails, gather and track data, create fun events, and much more. Below is a list of current volunteer opportunities.


Trail Work & Preserve Stewardship:
- Spring Trail Clean-Ups with Presumpscot Regional Land Trust
- Trail Stewardship Days with Mahoosuc Land Trust- MLT plans to host multiple trail work days throughout the summer and fall. Reach out to our Stewardship Director, Spenser Williams (spenser@mahoosuc.org) for more information
- Habitat for All Garden at Mahoosuc Land Trust- Mondays and Fridays, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, May through October
Event Support:
- Monarch Festival at Mahoosuc Land Trust– Sunday, August 30th. Could help with the raffle table, food tent, guest check-in, or general setup/cleanup. Reach out to georgia@mahoosuc.org for more details
- Homegrown Food Festival — Sunday, September 20th. Could help with guest check-in, or general setup/clean up. Reach out to georgia@mahoosuc.org for more details
- 19th Annual Norway Triathlon Saturday, July 11th. Volunteers need to commit to an on-site team meeting Friday July 10 5-6pm and to be present at the main event 7am-noon on the 11th. Contact lee@wfltmaine.org to sign up!
Citizen Science:
- Water Quality Monitoring with Presumpscot Regional Land Trust
- Fish Count with Presumpscot Regional Land Trust
- Lake & Loon Monitoring with Lakes Environmental Association
Free & Low Cost Events:
- Western Foothills Land Trust ski/snowshoe and maple syrup events at Robert’s Farm
- Wednesday Wanders, Community & Sunrise/Sunset Walks with Loon Echo Land Trust
Fundraising Events:
- Loon Echo Land Trust Summer Outdoor Trail Running Race Series
